日本のカジュアルウェア服飾アパレルブランド「エフ商会」がプロダクトするアメカジレーベルがテッドマン(TEDMAN)です。

テッドマンのキャラクターの元祖はアメリカのtattoo(タトゥー)とされていますが、さらにさかのぼると大戦中の米軍の部隊のマスコット(レッドデビル)がルーツと言われています。悪運を吹き飛ばしラッキーを手に入れると言う神話は軍人が士気を高め、無事に帰還できる事を願った思いが込められていたようです。当時、このテッドマンのキャラクターのルーツである悪魔小僧のTATTOOが、口から噴き出す炎により、邪鬼を吹き飛ばし身に付けている者にラッキーを招く！と云う噂が伝承され、このTATTOOをバイカーやロッカーなどアングラ系の若者達がこぞって腕や肩に刺しました。これがテッドマンズの誕生秘話です。

テッドマンレーベルの主な製品は、テッドマン(ラッキーデビル)のキャラクターをベースに、ミリタリー、モーターサイクル、ワークなどアメリカンカジュアルスタイルのテイストをプラスして、シルエット、素材、ディテールは現代風にアレンジしたアメカジアイテムです。サイズは日本規格サイズで、タウンユース用としてスタイリッシュにご着用いただけますようにカスタマイズされています。

この製品は、シングルライダースジャケットのボディをベースに、アメリカンモーターサイクル＆バイカースタイルの要素を随所に盛り込みつつも、シルエットはタウンユース用に再構築され、テッドマンのワッペンと刺繍カスタムでカジュアルのテイストをプラスしたスタイリッシュでファッショナブルなデザインに仕上げられています。

形は、シングルブレストフロントに、スタンドカラーのシンプルで王道的なデザインです。

表地素材は1.1mm～1.2mm厚の牛革(本革カウハイド)です。

荒々しいシボの表情と、しなやかなで柔らかい質感を持った、光沢を程よく抑えた上品なマットフィニッシュレザーです。このジャケットは、牛革独特のシワをそのまま活かし、滑らかな革とは違った魅力を持ちます。重厚感ある見た目と、ソフトな着心地を両立した仕上がりにされています。

身頃裏地と袖裏地は、ポリエステル100%のサテン生地です。インナーウェアとの摩擦を考慮した袖通しの良い生地です。

フロントはジップアップよるフルオープン開閉式で、ファスナーにはYKk社製ジッパーが使用されています。

衿はスタンドカラー(立襟)で スナップボタン留めのチンストラップを備えています。

ポケット数は4つです。ジャケットフロントのウエスト部分にジッパーポケット×2、両身頃の裏地にサイドに口が開いた内ポケット×2です。

袖口には、袖口開口調節用のジッパーが、裾の両サイドにはサイドアジャストバックルベルトが付き、ライダースジャケットのデザイン性、機能性も再現されています。

両胸と右袖には刺繍ツイルワッペンが、背中には刺繍ツイルワッペンと直刺繍が配されています。

Outer shell : Made with 100% pure cowhide leather in black. Matte black genuine cowhide leather shell. Rugged-grain and old-fashioned appearance on the face of the fabric for the fashionable vintage feel and look. The real leather combines the durability and the natural softness for comfort to wear.

Lining shell : Fully lined with polyester fabric lining. Made of 100% polyester thin, lightweigt, density and tightness weave satin fabric. This lining is smooth and sleek so you can take the jacket off and put it on easily.

Type of insulation : No inside padding. No fill.

Types of garment closure (Placket type) : 2-way zipper closure. Front Fastener. Front zip closure from YKK. Two-way closure front entry. 2-way zips are designed to open from the bottom of the zip as well as from the top. This is to give you more room at the hem of the jacket so you will be more comfortable when you are sitting down. This freeform design is great for riding your bike or motorcycle or when driving your car, and gives you maximum mobility.

Storage : Two outside zippered pockets on the lower front section of the jacket. Two interior vertical-side-entry pockets.
