TOYS McCOY(トイズマッコイ)のN-1デッキジャケット(メンズ ミリタリージャケット)です。

N-1ジャケットは第二次世界大戦から朝鮮戦争にかけ米海軍の艦艇乗員用として採用されたジャケットです。表素材には通称「jungle cloth」と呼ばれるコットングログランが使用され、裏地には遮風性と保温性に優れたアルパカモヘアウールパイルが使用されました。本製品は、そのオリーブ色のN-1をディテール、素材ともに実物を忠実に再現した復刻モデルです。

表素材はコットン100%のジャングルクロス(コットングログラン)キャンバス生地です。高密度に織られ、無骨な雰囲気のある、強度に優れた頑丈でタフなしっかりとした重厚感のある生地です。ミリタリージャケットに使用された布地の素材は高密度が故に、摩擦による表情の変化が非常に魅力的でもあります。中でも顕著に表れやすいのがジャングルクロスで、この製品の生地表面にも白い筋状の跡/ホワイトマークが見受けられますが、経年変化の風合いも楽しめるこの生地の特性として予めごご了承ください。

身頃裏地と袖裏地と衿は、ウール50%・アルパカ50%の天然素材混紡アルパカウールパイルです。

フロントは、TALON(タロン)ジッパーと、その上をボタンで留める比翼(ストームフラップ)による二重構造仕立てで、外気の侵入を防ぐと共にジッパーを保護するつくりになっています。ジッパーのスライダーにはボディと共生地のタブが付けられ、グローブなどをしていても開閉がしやすくなるようにされています。

袖口の内側には外気をより遮断できるようにウールリブが付けられています。N-1の袖口はリブが内蔵された仕様で、リブが摩擦で傷むことを防ぐと共に防寒性も確保しています。

脇下には湿気逃しのための鳩目穴(アイレット)が開いています。

ウエスト部分には、手を入れやすいように斜めにカッティングされた片玉縁ハンドウォーマーポケットが設けられています。

左衿にはチンストラップが装着されています。チンストラップを使用しないときには邪魔にならないように左襟内側に付けられたボタンに留めておくこともできます。衿を立ててチンストラップを右襟内側のボタンに留める事により、首元の防寒性が増すように設計されています。

裾裏にはドローコードが通され、絞りを調整できるようにされています。

ジャケット内側の裾部分と脇にはオプションレイヤーと組み合わせて使用するためのループが付けられています。

左胸には「U.S.N」のステンシルプリントが配されています。

※このジャケットは40年代～50年代当時の規格を忠実に再現するために天然素材を使用しています。身頃裏地、袖裏地にはアルパカウールパイルが採用されています。そのため、ナイロンやポリエステルなどの化学繊維の裏地に比べて、着用時に袖を通しにくいことや、ゴワツキ感を感じたり、インナーにウールの毛が付着することもございますので、予めご了承ください。また洗濯や乾燥機などの使用により、縮みやプリントの色落ちを起こす恐れがありますので、汚れた場合は中性洗剤を薄め、布にしみこませて拭き取ってください。

Outer shell : The outer fabric of this jacket is made from heavyweight corded-cotton jungle cloth, also known as cotton grosgrain, in an olive color. This fabric, crafted from 100% cotton canvas, is heavy-duty, high-density, and extremely durable. The tightly woven texture features a vertical grain, similar to Bedford cord, which provides a luxurious matte finish with a subtle luster. The fabric has been specially processed to achieve a faded, vintage look with a distinct, muted hue. *Please note: the jacket may have white marks, spots, or streaks on the fabric. These are intentional and part of the design to create a vintage feel, not defects.

Lining shell for body and sleeves : The lining fabric of this jacket is made from a blend of alpaca and wool pile fur. 50% alpaca and 50% wool blended pile grayish-brown-hued color fur lining. This lining provides great warmth to the wearer. Suitable for winter seasons.

Placket type : The front of the jacket features a vintage-style TALON zipper, paired with a buttoned wind flap (storm flap) to provide extra protection against the wind. The zipper also has a self-fabric pull tab, making it easy to use even with gloves. The buttons are made from Mil-Spec urea for added durability.

Collar : Accented with fur sherpa panel collar with backing cotton satin-backed fabric to maintain collar shape and help keep collar up when the need arises. The left side collar has a throat latch (neck strap, chin strap, throat tab). And one concealed buttons under the right collar allow the throat latch to be buttoned across the neck. This throat latch is used for in foul weather to provide added protection to the lower part of the face with the collar-upturned. You can also hide a throat latch with throat tab keeper button underneath left collar, when you do not use a throat tab.
