日本のカジュアルウェア服飾アパレルブランド「エフ商会」がプロダクトするアメカジレーベルがテッドマン(TEDMAN)です。

テッドマンのキャラクターの元祖はアメリカのTattoo(タトゥー)とされていますが、さらにさかのぼると大戦中の米軍の部隊のマスコット(レッドデビル)がルーツと言われています。悪運を吹き飛ばしラッキーを手に入れると言う神話は軍人が士気を高め、無事に帰還できる事を願った思いが込められていたようです。当時、このテッドマンのキャラクターのルーツである悪魔小僧のTATTOOが、口から噴き出す炎により、邪鬼を吹き飛ばし身に付けている者にラッキーを招く！と云う噂が伝承され、このTATTOOをバイカーやロッカーなどアングラ系の若者達がこぞって腕や肩に刺しました。これがテッドマンズの誕生秘話です。

この製品は、MA-1をモチーフにしたボディでアメリカンミリタリースタイルを踏襲しつつも、エフ商会によってタウンユース用にアレンジされた中綿ジャケットです。テッドマン(ラッキーデビル)グラフィックデザインのプリントとパッチカスタム、現代的なシルエット、縫製を取り入れ、カジュアルのテイストをプラスした街着として洗練されたファッショナブルなデザインに仕上げられています。従来のMA-1より、軽量で着心地もよい快適なジャケットに仕上げられています。

サイズは日本サイズで、シルエットは、身幅が広めで着丈が短めに仕上げられたボックスシルエット(ボクシー・ライン)です。

表地はナイロン100%のヘビーナイロンツイル生地です。しなやかで柔らかな肌触りと、深みのある光沢をもったナイロン生地です。

裏地は滑りのよいポリエステル生地で、インナーウェアとの摩擦を考慮した袖通しの良い生地です。

表地と裏地の間にはポリエステル100%の中綿が詰められ、防寒性・保温性が高められています。

襟と袖口と裾部分は、しっかりとしたダブルレイヤー(二重)リブで切替えられています。袖口のリブは織りの組成をローゲージからハイゲージに変えることで程よいフィット感を生み出します。

両胸と右袖にはワッペンパッチ、左袖にはエアフォースマーク(USアーミーエアフォースショルダースリーブインシグニアデカール)プリント、背中にはパッチとプリントがほどこされています。

This padded nylon jacket is produced by Japanese casualwear brand Tedman ( Tedman's Ted Company ) from Efu-Shokai and made in China. This product is made especially for Japanese market and made for Japanese clothing sizes. Body pattern is uniquely designed and inspired by U.S. Air Force Type MA-1 Flight Jacket(Flying Jacket, Bomber Jacket, Military Aviator Jacket), but this jacket is outfitted with Tedman's brand own detailing and design. This modern MA-1 jacket is a contemporary take on the original MA-1. A classic style gets a modern update with this MA1 from Tedman ( Tedman's Ted Company ) by Efu-Shokai. Lucky devil named Tedman is the mascot characters of japanese clothing brand TEDMAN. Tedman brand use lucky devil named Tedman as their mark which makes this brand more unique and funny. Also this puffer jacket is decorated with the printing and patches designed by the mascot characters of Tedman. The graphic on this MA1 jacket is based on the WW2 US fighter pilot. And this graphic jacket is cut to Regular Fit with a extra room through the chest and body, and short in the body length for a more fashion-forward looks. Outer shell : Made of 100% nylon twill. It is high density and extremely durable. It combines the toughness and the natural softness for comfort. This fabric has a soft touch and deep hue with beautiful sheen.

Lining shell for body and sleeves : Fully lined, 100% polyesterl lining. The lining is smooth and sleek so you can take the jacket off and put it on easily.

Interlining (Type of insulation ) : Inside padding. The jacket is filled with 100% polyesterl fiber fill sandwiched between the outer and inner shell lining to retains heat and protect you from the cold. Suitable for mild or colder winter.

Types of garment closure (Placket type) : Zipper closure with internal storm flap with zig-zag stitching. Wind flap protector (storm flap) located behind zipper closure. Front Fastener with zip tape made of all-cotton HBT fabric. An internal storm flap prevents the wind from slipping through the front. A leather tab has been attached to zipper pull-tab, making it easy to open and close when riding a motorcycle or wearing gloves (or both).

Storage : Two exterior slanted single welt snap-closure pockets lined with cotton fabric on front side. Two interior vertical-side-entry snap-closure pockets lined with cotton fabric. Zippered cigarette pocket outfitted with four pen/pencil slots (utility pocket) on left sleeve. Zipper with leather pull tab on sleeve pocket.

Other details : The two-ply worsted-wool knit rib cuffs (sleeve ends), collar and waistband are comfortable and flexible. Oxygen mask tab correctly sewn to left front chest for attaching oxygen mask retainer clip. Two snap-down radio wire tabs (one on each breast) for retaining headset and microphone wiring leads.
